1. FOCUS ON COMMITMENT, NOT MOTIVATION.
How committed are you to your goal? How important is it for you and what are you willing to sacrifice to achieve it? If you are totally committed, the motivation will continue.
2. LOOK FOR KNOWLEDGE, NOT RESULTS.
If you focus on the excitement of discovering, improving, exploring and experimenting, your motivation will always be nourished. On the other hand, if you focus only on the results, your motivation will go with any difficulty. So the key is to focus on the journey, not the destination.
3. MAKE THE TRIP FUN.
It is an incredible game! The moment you take it seriously, there is a strong possibility that it starts to have a great emotional weight and you will lose perspective and you will get stuck again.
4. GET RID OF THE STAGNANT THOUGHTS.
Thoughts influence feelings and feelings determine how you see your work. You have many thoughts in your head and you always have the option to focus on them: eliminate those that make you feel emotionally trapped (fears, doubts) and focus on those that make you move forward (emotion, experimentation, enthusiasm). New things, coming out of your comfort zone.
5. USE YOUR IMAGINATION.
When things are going well, you are full of positive energy, and when you are experiencing difficulties, you need to have even more energy. If you keep repeating “I hate my job,” guess what feelings those words will evoke? It’s a matter of imagination !.
You can always find something to learn, even from the worst boss in the world at the most boring job. I have a great exercise for you: just for three days, think and say positive things only.
6. STOP BEING SOFT WITH YOURSELF.
Motivation means action and action gives results. Sometimes your actions do not get the results you want. So you prefer to be soft with yourself and not put yourself in a difficult situation.
Waiting for the perfect moment, the opportunity, will lead you to stagnation and, sometimes, even to depression. Go out, challenge yourself, do something you want to do, even if you’re afraid.
7. GET RID OF DISTRACTIONS.
Things without meaning and distractions will always be on our way, especially those easy and habitual things that you would prefer to do instead of focusing on new meaningful and challenging projects. Learn to focus on what is most important. Write a list of lost time and be responsible for not doing them.
8. DO NOT EXPECT FROM OTHERS.
You should never expect others to do it for you, not even your partner, friends or boss. Everyone is busy with their own needs. Nobody will make you happy or achieve your goals for you. Everything is in you.
Know your next three steps forward. You do not need more. Analyze how each day went by, what you learned and evaluate what you could improve.
10. PROTECT YOURSELF FROM EXHAUSTION.
It’s easy to run out when you’re very motivated. Observe yourself to recognize any signs of extreme tiredness and take time to rest.
Your body and mind rest when you schedule relaxation and fun time on your weekly calendar. Change of air, meditate, or just breathe deeply.
These are the 10 Tips that you would have to follow for achieving everything that you want in life.
All the Best….
